Roslyn Smith is a clinical dietitian who has specialised in diabetes mellitus for over 28 years. She is a senior clinician at Liverpool Hospital in South Western Sydney, which is one of the largest metropolitan hospitals in Australia. She has clinical experience in public and private practice, and has worked in both Australia and the United Kingdom. She was an active member of the Dietitians Australia Diabetes Interest Group Leadership Team for four years, including acting as national Convenor in 2019-2020. She has co-authored a number of publications, including Practice Based Evidence in Nutrition (PEN) knowledge pathways on carbohydrate counting and insulin pump dosing strategies in Type 1 diabetes. Her current research interests are focussed on gestational diabetes. She has been recognised by Dietitians Australia as an Advanced Accredited Practicing Dietitian.
