Christopher Nolan (BMedSci, MBBS, PhD, FRACP) is a clinician-scientist working in the field of diabetes, including diabetes in pregnancy. He is Professor of Endocrinology and Associate Director of Research for the School of Medicine and Psychology, Australian National University (ANU) and Senior Staff Specialist in Diabetes and Endocrinology for Canberra Health. He is currently a Board Member of the Australian Diabetes Society, Co-Chair of the Diabetes Australia Research Program Advisory Panel, Chair of the National Association of Diabetes Centres Steering Committee, and a recent Advisory Board Member for Diabetologia. He has previously been President of the Australasian Diabetes in Pregnancy Society and a Council Member of the International Association of Diabetes in Pregnancy Study Groups. His research activities traverse basic science, clinical science and public health. He is a Co-CI of the NHMRC funded Treatment Of Booking Gestational diabetes Mellitus (TOBOGM) study.
